CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's and women's swimming teams swept the field this weekend, as both squads picked up a first place overall finish in the New England Catholic Invite on Oct. 21-22.
On the men's side, Nick Henze, Marty Long, Connor Stickney and Sean Murphy were named the meet's Outstanding Performers. Henze took third in the 100-Yard Freestyle (48.87), as well as the first in the 200-Yard Freestyle (1:45.71). Long swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives with scores of 247.75 and 293.95, respectively. Stickney won the 100-Yard Freestyle (48.16), while Murphy won the 400-Yard IM (4:15.97) and placed second in the 100-Yard Breaststroke. Henze, Stickney and Murphy also helped contribute to first place finishes for BC in multiple relay events.
